Linezolid is active against Gram-positive bacteria only. Linezolid formulations are indicated in the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms.

• Complicated skin and skin structure infections
• Community-acquired pneumonia, including concurrent bacteremia
• Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium infections, including concurrent bacteremia
• Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections
